On our way to Taiwan!
We leave today on our first trip which is a "first time" country for both of us! I'm excited to explore Taiwan with Iris; our friend and of course not so local (anymore) tour guide. This is also Ericka's last trip for a while before she's on lock down with the baby getting bigger!
We got in late but are up early to explore!

A little insight into Iris college days
Iris showed us around the city and explored the streets and food that she experienced during her college days. It was lovely and the food was great.

Iris has really outdone herself with the places she's introduced us too. Ericka is in heaven! I was also very very content with the Chicken! haha
Last morning and Ericka finally gets her authentic Taiwanese milk tea!
Today we head home to the Philippines. On one level, this trip has been a little bit of torture for Ericka. As she's pregnant she's been discouraged from drinking too much caffein and sugar; two ingredients in her favourite drink... milk tea. Spending a weekend at the home of milk tea and being unable to partake is rough, so this morning she had her milk tea gladly.

It's been an amazing weekend away with our close friend Iris. We are so thankful to her for being our guide, but mostly, for being an amazing friend!
