Big Update for my Medication Timer project

I am incredibly proud to share that Medication Timer hasn't just been updated - it has completely evolved. We’ve transitioned the app from a simple "as-needed" medication and temperature tracker into a comprehensive family health and medicine platform.

Sometimes the hardest part of building something you care about is knowing when to step back.

Over a year ago, I had to make the difficult decision to put my passion project, Medication Timer, on hold.

Between managing the demands of daily work, showing up for Ericka and the boys, and dealing with some unexpected health issues, my plate was completely full.

For anyone building a product in their "free time," you know how this feels. When your health and energy are depleted, the pressure to "keep shipping" can become incredibly overwhelming. I had to prioritise my family and well-being and park the project.

But passion projects have a way of calling you back.

Over the last several months, as my health improved and my schedule opened up, I started plugging away in the quiet corners of my free time. I took a fresh look at technical challenges, solved them, and found a renewed momentum.

I am incredibly proud to share that Medication Timer hasn't just been updated - it has completely evolved.

We’ve transitioned the app from a simple "as-needed" medication and temperature tracker into a comprehensive family health and medicine platform.
